Yoo Jae Suk, “Taeyang refused my wedding gift of 1 million won and only received my heart”
Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho revealed an anecdote about Taeyang’s wedding.
On August 14th, the Youtube channel “DdeunDdeun” uploaded a new video titled “Joint birthday party is just an excuse”. The released video shows Yoo Jae Suk, Nam Chang Hee and Jo Se Ho talking about various things.
That day, Jo Se Ho said, “If someone borrows money from me and says ‘I’ll give it back to you after 10 days’. I will call them right on the 10th day”. Yoo Jae Suk and Nam Chang Hee said, “I can’t do it”, showing the difference in their tendencies. Jo Se Ho shared, “Nam Chang Hee once went to an event and he was supposed to receive a small amount of money. They told him that they would give it to him later but they never did, so he just gave up”
Jo Se Ho continued, “If someone borrows money from me and doesn’t pay me back, I will call them 40 times a day. If they don’t pay me back even if they can, it’s such a wrong thing to do”, adding “Nam Chang Hee is the only friend whom I lend my money to”. Hearing that, Yoo Jae Suk wondered, “You borrowed money from me, didn’t you?”
In the meantime, Jo Se Ho brought up a story related to Taeyang’s wedding. He said, “I was the host at Taeyang’s wedding. He (Yoo Jae Suk) asked me to give Taeyang 1 million won in congratulatory money on behalf of him because he couldn’t attend the wedding. He said he would give me the money back on the next recording schedule”.
He added, “I handed over the congratulatory money to Taeyang, but he said, ‘Thank you, but please tell him (Yoo Jae Suk) that I decided to receive only his heart and blessings instead of wedding congratulatory money’. The story should have ended there but Jae Suk hyung kept asking me to return him 1 million won.”
Yoo Jae Suk commented, “I said ‘It’s okay. Just keep it’. I gave you some pocket money”, drawing laughter.
