Winter is reportedly absent from aespa’s concert schedules in Japan this week
Member Winter will not perform at aespa’s upcoming concert in Nagoya, Japan due to health reasons.
On April 29th, aespa’s official SNS channel released a notice, saying “After consulting with the doctor, Winter will not be participating in aespa’s concert to be held at Nippon Gaishi Hall on April 29th and 30th due to her poor health conditions”.
Three members Karina, Giselle, and Ning Ning will continue to perform at the concert.
aespa’s agency also announced that refund requests due to the sudden absence of Winter will be processed within a fixed period of time.
aespa is set to make their comeback with a new mini album called “MY WORLD” on May 8th. Prior to the album release, the girl group will introduce the pre-release single “Welcome To My World”, adding expectations to a spectacular comeback.
Since this concert is held right ahead of the group’s comeback, Winter’s absence is raising fans’ concerns.
Reacting to the news, some fans commented, “Health should be prioritized”, “The group has only 4 members but one main vocalist is missing. The vacancy will be huge”, “I think Winter must be the most upset person right now”, etc.
