WINNER’s Song Mino to begin his alternative military service as a social worker on March 24

For health reasons, Song Mino will begin his alternative enlistment as a public service worker on March 24. His scheduled release date is December 2024.

Recently, in JTBC’s “Peak Time”, where WINNER’s Song Mino appeared as a special MC ahead of his military service, he said, “Unfortunately, today is the last day of my appearance on ‘Peak Time.’ I’m going to be away for about two years, and I’ll look forward to seeing which one of you will rise to the top and threaten my position.“

With this, Song Mino will be the third member of WINNER to begin his military service, following Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon, who have been discharged. Kang Seung Yoon, born in 1994, is also about to enlist.

Meanwhile, Song Mino started his activities as WINNER by appearing and winning the survival program “WIN: Who is Next”, which aired in 2013. On August 17, 2014, WINNER debuted in the music industry with “2014 S/S” and has since then released many hit songs such as “Empty”, “REALLY REALLY”, “EVERYDAY” and “MILLIONS”.
