The Chunsa International Film Art Awards has been held since the 1990s in honor of Korean film pioneer Chunsa Na Un-gyu, and is based on creativity, artistry and fairness by overcoming commercialistic trends at other film festivals. It also aims at enhancing the position of film directors and works to create a festival that can be enjoyed by all film staff.
