Nam Tae Hyun, who was accused of taking methamphetamine, shared his recent status during drug treatment.

Nam Tae Hyun conducted a live broadcast on the YouTube channel “Mass 9 bro” on July 14th. He communicated with netizens for about 3 hours.

First of all, when asked about his thoughts on the recent drug incidents in the entertainment industry, Nam Tae Hyun said, “The fact that such incidents happen a lot in the entertainment industry proves that there are many cases like this in society. I think things like prevention and rehabilitation should be more active as soon as possible.”

Recently, Nam Tae Hyun is receiving treatment at Incheon Darc, an addiction healing and rehabilitation center. Mass 9 bro, who hosted the live broadcast together with Nam Tae Hyun, is a YouTuber who is taking the lead in drug correction and prevention.

Nam Tae Hyun expressed his feelings about “malicious comments”. He said, “I’m not afraid of getting cursed at and receiving malicious comments anymore. I don’t have a hard time with that because I did wrong and lived the wrong way. I’ll show you how I recover and live well. Thank you for your concern.”

He also mentioned Seo Min Jae. Nam Tae Hyun was sent to the prosecution in August last year on charges of taking methamphetamine with Seo Min Jae, a cast member of Channel A’s “Heart Signal 3”, and is under investigation without detention.

Nam Tae Hyun shared, “I don’t know well, but Min Jae is recovering diligently, too. Through individual counseling, Seo Min Jae told Mass 9 bro that she’s doing well and asked Mass 9 bro for support.“

Meanwhile, Nam Tae Hyun appeared on KBS1’s “In Depth 60 Minutes” episode 1328, titled “Telegram Drug Rooms Targeting Teenagers”, which aired on July 14th.

On the broadcast, Nam Tae Hyun confessed about the difficulties he faced due to drug use. He shocked everyone by saying, “All that remained was a debt of 500 million won and overdue credit card payments. I plan to work part-time at a restaurant in order to repay my debts.“
