“Vigilante” led by Nam Joo-hyuk announces its start with a script reading today (July 18th)

The production of the drama “Vigilante”, starring Nam Joo-hyuk, has begun.

According to YTN Star’s report on July 18th, the new drama “Vigilante” will hold a script reading with all cast members somewhere in Seoul on the same day. The first official schedule of the drama production begins with the attendance of all the lead actors, including Nam Joo-hyuk, Yoo Ji-tae, and Lee Joon-hyuk.

In particular, Nam Joo-hyuk, who has recently been embroiled in school bullying controversies, is drawing keen attention with his appearance at this event. “Vigilante” is Nam Joo-hyuk’s new work after making a big hit with “Twenty-five, Twenty-one”. He will play the role of Ji-yong, a police university student whose second identity is a dark hero named “Vigilante”.

Meanwhile, “Vigilante” is a work based on a webtoon of the same name drawn by Kim Kyu-sam. It tells the story of a wide-area investigation team tracking the social phenomenon Vigilante, a dark hero who hunts criminals who try to escape from laws. 

The production crew is still discussing on the OTT platform to air this drama.
