Videographer Directly Accused BLACKPINK’s Lisa of Plagiarism

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is facing another plagiarism accusation over the MV of her latest single, “Rockstar”, this time from a videographer.

On July 4 (Korean time), Gabriel Moses, the videographer of Travis Scott’s “FE!N” MV, published several Instagram stories related to BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

In particular, the videographer revealed a screenshot of an email he received, which accused Lisa of “imitating” a scene in the “FE!N” MV in her MV for “Rockstar”. He also added the caption, “I got mad love for all my snitches”, suggesting that he believes the accusation is true.

Additionally, Gabriel also published another story with the caption, “Giving n*ggas till the end of the month”, implying that he will wait for Lisa’s side to contact him or speak up.

Meanwhile, a scene from Lisa’s “Rockstar” MV was previously accused of copying another shot from Travis Scott’s “FE!N” MV. While the two scenes share strong similarities, many netizens believe the shots to have a rather common set-up, as similar shots have appeared in various other videos, providing little ground for plagiarism.

Additionally, a fashion designer also previously accused Lisa of “copying” their outfit. So far, Lisa’s side has not spoken up about the accusations.
