Chaeyoung’s Basic Information
Chaeyoung was born in Dunchon-dong, Gangdong, Seoul, South Korea. She graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in 2019, alongside fellow member Momo.
Chaeyoung auditioned for JYP Entertainment in June 2012 and passed the audition with flying colors.

After joining JYP, Chaeyoung appeared in the music videos of GOT7’s “Stop Stop It” (2014) and miss A’s “Only You” (2015).

In 2020, rumors of TWICE’s Chaeyoung dating a 9-year-older tattoo artist emerged as netizens provide various “dating evidence”. Later on, a bracelet revealed by Chaeyoung also added fuel to this dating rumor, sparking debates. However, both Chaeyoung and her rumored boyfriend never spoke up about the situation.
