Here’s why Troye Sivan is suddenly mentioned in the dating rumors between BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V
As dating rumors are growing between Jennie and V, an unexpected person is being talked about.
Earlier this May, BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie were caught up in dating rumors when alleged photos of them inside a car hanging out in Jeju Island were posted. On August 23rd, the dating rumor was raised again as another photo evidence surfaced.
A netizen posted a photo on Twitter with the caption, “Exclusive unseen photo. Are BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V just friends?” The photo shows V getting his hair styled by the staff at a beauty shop and a woman, who looks like Jennie, taking a mirror photo of them from behind.
Netizens pointed out that in the photo, Jennie was wearing a cardigan, accessories, and using a phone case that she was seen with in her previous Instagram photos. They also claimed that based on V’s outfit, this leaked photo was estimated to be taken the day before V left for Paris, France on June 24th.
Although the source of the photo has not been confirmed, some netizens claimed that it might have been leaked from Jennie’s private Instagram account.
In addition, netizens on various online communities drew attention as they mentioned pop singer Troye Sivan when stating the reason why Jennie’s photo got leaked.
Some netizens said, “When Troye Sivan was following Jennie’s private Instagram, several fans looked for the suspicious account that Troye Sivan was following and found out it was Jennie’s account”, raising speculations about the starting point of Jennie and V’s romantic relationship rumor photo getting leaked.
