Top 30 Rankings for Individual Brand Reputation of Girl Group Members in July 2023

Blackpink’s Jisoo ranked first in the individual brand reputation of girl groups in July.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed the brand reputation index for individual girl group members based on big data analysis from June 16, 2023, to July 16, 2023. They extracted 112,364,268 pieces of brand big data from 635 individual girl group members and conducted consumer behavior analysis using the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index to analyze the brand reputation index. Compared to the previous month’s 119,856,004 pieces of brand big data, it decreased by 6.25%.

Blackpink’s Jisoo, who recorded the top ranking in individual brand reputation, had a participation index of 141,898, media index of 156,784, communication index of 1,228,481, and community index of 2,535,170, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,062,331. Compared to the previous month’s brand reputation index of 4,973,710, it decreased by 18.32%.

The second-ranked NewJeans Minji had a participation index of 714,702, media index of 642,842, communication index of 1,076,990, and community index of 1,290,503, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,725,037. Compared to the previous month’s brand reputation index of 2,397,519, it increased by 55.37%.

The third-ranked Blackpink’s Lisa had a participation index of 160,769, media index of 556,493, communication index of 1,052,157, and community index of 1,620,055, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,389,474. Compared to the previous month’s brand reputation index of 2,662,590, it increased by 27.30%.

Kang Chang-hwan, the director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, analyzed the brand big data for individual girl group members in July 2023 and stated, “Blackpink’s Jisoo brand ranked first. When analyzing the individual brand category of girl groups, it decreased by 6.25% compared to the previous month’s brand big data of 119,856,004 pieces. In the detailed analysis, brand consumption decreased by 1.81%, brand issues decreased by 8.65%, brand communication decreased by 8.51%, and brand expansion decreased by 4.83%.”

He continued, “Blackpink’s Jisoo brand, which recorded the first place in the individual brand reputation of girl groups in July 2023, showed high scores in link analysis for being ‘fascinating, chic, and breakthrough.’ In keyword analysis, ‘photoshoot, game, YouTube’ were highly analyzed. The sentiment analysis showed a positive ratio of 86.21%. Compared to the previous month’s brand reputation index of 4,973,710, it decreased by 18.32%. In the detailed analysis, brand consumption decreased by 30.74%, brand issues decreased by 26.94%, brand communication decreased by 4.02%, and brand expansion decreased by 22.57%.”
