Even waiting is fun for these ARMYs.
The area around SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (LA), where BTS’s concert will be held, has been crowded with visits from their fans ARMYs since the day before the concert began. Thousands of fans moved to the concert hall early to purchase the group’s official merchandise, so-called goods.
BTS’s agency, Big Hit Music, started operating its official merchandise stand outside Sofi Stadium from 10 a.m. on November 26th (local time). However, around 8 a.m, the site was already full of fans waiting for the sales to start with excitement.
Official products could be purchased at the stand. Big Hit Music has prepared a variety of products, including premium photos, image pickets, keyrings, phone tabs, decoration stickers, hats, T-shirts, hoodies and belts. Keyrings and decoration stickers were sold for $15, the cheapest, and the price of the “Vintage Retro” version hoodie, which features each member’s name in a vintage logo, was set at the most expensive $133.
The products sold on this day were newly created to commemorate the hosting of BTS’s new concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” which was why they were even more meaningful to fans.
BTS’s albums were also available at the stand. Their full album “BE” released last year and the album of the mega hit single “Butter” released this year were placed. The official light stick, called “ARMY BOMB,” was also available at the stand.
Big Hit Music organized an event for buyers and fans. Those who purchased the album at the stand randomly received a photo card of each BTS member. Buyers of the “Vintage Retro” version of the product were presented with one “Pop-up Slip Band.”
The scene was in a festive mood. Big Hit Music has heated up the atmosphere by playing BTS’s songs on speakers since the start of the sales. Some fans enjoyed the moment of waiting by singing and dancing to BTS songs.
From the afternoon, a long line was formed in front of the photo zone created using the concert name “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE.” Fans who purchased the product naturally headed to the photo zone and took pictures.
BTS’s concert will be held for four days from November 27th to 28th and December 1st to 2nd. It is BTS’s first offline concert in more than two years since the outbreak of the pandemic. The goods stand is open until the last day of the concert.
