The production team of ‘Squid Game’ then sent a meeting request to those who are acquainted with Jeon Jong-seo. They even organized a private meeting with Jeon Jong-seo but sadly, the result didn’t go well.

The reason was said to be that at that time, Jeon Jong-seo’s management company was focusing on other works that were talked about, not ‘Squid Game’. In the end, Jeon Jong-seo’s meeting was postponed, and Jung Ho-yeon was selected for the role in a public audition.
