This 38-year-old actor got viewers wheezing by playing a 21-year-old character

Despite being 38 years old, this actor recently played a 21-year-old character, cracking up the audience with his “mismatched” portrayal.

In the latest developments of “The Uncanny Counter 2”, the new character Na Jeok Bong (Yoo In Soo) has joined the team of counters (demon hunter). Behind Na Jeok Bong, who can literally sniff out demons, is the soul of Jong Guk (Choi Kwang Je). The two officially become partners after Jeok Bong accidentally activated his power, defeating a demon when he had decided to give up everything.

In the finale of episode 4, the audience witnesses the reunion of Jeok Bong and Jong Guk, after Jeok Bong successfully captures a demon and brings it to Yung for permanent imprisonment.

Previously, Jong Guk displayed annoyance and disdain towards Jeok Bong since the latter often appeared foolish and nothing like a demon hunter. However, after witnessing Jeok Bong’s 1st success in demon-hunting, Jong Guk immediately changed his attitude, and surprisingly revealed that he is only… 21 years old. He even started calling Jeok Bong his “older brother”, causing Jeok Bong to almost lose his balance in surprise.

In fact, Jeok Bong was not the only one baffled, as the audience also couldn’t believe their eyes. Due to his appearance and somewhat quirky style, from clothing, hairstyle, to accessories, it is difficult to believe that Jong Guk’s age is as young as 21.

Faced with this “plot twist”, viewers couldn’t help but laugh out loud due to this extreme mismatch in age and outer appearance.

In fact, actor Choi Kwang Je, who plays the 21-year-old Jong Guk, has reached 38 years of age in real life. With his distinctive visuals and style, the 38-year-old actor got viewers wheezing as he teamed up with Yoo In Soo to create the most hilarious “soul – counter” in “The Uncanny Counter 2”.
