BLACKPINK’s fans have complained to their agency YG Entertainment.
On Feb 20th, BLACKPINK‘s fans raised the issue of their comeback on the online community Nate Pann. Fans wrote a post saying, “BLACKPINK has 23 songs in total since their debut in 2016, including title songs and b-side tracks. It’s amazing that the group still exists. We wish the agency would do something.”
Other netizens sympathized, “It’s been 7 years since their debut. I hope they will do some activities in Korea”, “Then it’s hard for fans to follow their idols” and “If it’s another group, that number of songs would be released in 1~2 years.”
BLACKPINK is a four-member girl group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. After debuting with “Whistle” and “BOOMBAYAH” in 2016, they have released a number of popular songs such as “Playing With Fire”, “As If It’s Your Last”, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Lovesick Girls”.
The group is currently No.1 in first week album sales among girl groups (680.000 copies), No.1 in total sales among girl groups (1.4 million copies), No.1 in the number of YouTube subscribers in Korea as well as in the world (among artists).
