Moon Sung Hyun has been selected to play Yoo Yeon Seok’s younger self in JTBC’s “Understanding of Love”.
“Understanding Love” is a melodrama about people with different interests meeting each other and understanding the true meaning of ‘love’. It depicts a real-life love story in which men and women with different perspectives on the emotion of ‘love’ meet in the same space, the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank.
In the drama, rookie actor Moon Sung Hyun plays the past self of Ha Sang Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok), the central character who leads the story. Ha Sang Soo faces the variable of love in everyday life, but he went through a childhood that made it difficult for him to become normal. Moon Sung Hyun arouses curiosity about Ha Sang Soo’s school days, which he will portray with his delicate acting skills.
This year, Moon Sung Hyun has continued his unstoppable acting career in 2022, successively taking on the child roles of famous actors such as in “The King of Pigs”, “Shooting Star”, and “Alchemy of Souls.”
Recently, Moon Sung Hyun drew attention by immersing himself in characters with polar opposite personalities, from the timid Shim So Gun in “Under The Queen’s Umbrella” to the child role of Jin Sung Joon (Kim Nam Hee) in “Reborn Rich”. Therefore, attention is paid to what new appearance Moon Sung Hyun will show in “Understanding of Love”.
JTBC’s new drama “Understanding of Love” will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm KST on December 21st.
