Lee Sung Min, “Song Joong Ki’s wedding? I’d love to attend if he invites me… I actually had a prejudice against him at first”
Lee Sung Min mentioned actor Song Joong Ki on Park Myung Soo’s radio show.
Lee Sung Min, a main cast actor in the movie “The Devil’s Deal”, guested on KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show” broadcast on the morning of February 15th.
“The Devil’s Deal” is a crime drama telling the story centers around Hae Woong (Cho Jin Woong), a candidate for the National Assembly, Soon Tae (Lee Sung Min), who has hidden power in politics, and Pil Do (Kim Moo Yeol), a gangster who holds secret documents that will shake Korea. The film will premiere on the 1st of next month.
Lee Sung Min is expected to make a grand comeback after receiving huge love for his performance as Chairman Jin Yang Chul in last year’s hit drama “Reborn Rich”.
Regarding the reason he decided to appear in “The Devil’s Deal”, Lee Sung Min said, “The story excited me. Soon Tae was the kind of character I wanted to play once. I enjoyed ‘The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil’ by director Lee Won Tae. Cho Jin Woong also joined the cast, so I decided to participate in this project”.
When asked about his chemistry with junior actor Song Joong Ki in “Reborn Rich”, Lee Sung Min said, “We got close to each other thanks to this work. If he invites me to his wedding, I would love to attend”, showing off his affection for Song Joong Ki.
He added, “Song Joong Ki and I starred in the same drama before (“Triple” in 2009) but we rarely met each other at that time. Later I heard lots of stories about that nice friend from people around me and I really wanted to work with him. I finally made it with ‘Reborn Rich’. I actually had a prejudice against Song Joong Ki at first. I thought he was a friend with a beautiful face and a soft characteristic, but it turns out that he’s very strong and brave”.
Lee Sung Min continued to praise Song Joong Ki, saying “Unlike other top stars of his age, he’s very easygoing. He never hides his face when going to restaurants or hesitates when someone asks for his autograph. Although he’s a junior actor who is so much younger than me, I want to learn that good point from him and try to be like that in the future”.
