“They thought I was pregnant”… Jeon So Min’s remark surprised everyone
Jeon So Min confessed her experience of being misunderstood as a pregnant woman.
Girl group IVE appeared as a guest on the Jan 29th broadcast of SBS’ “Running Man“.
On this day’s broadcast, IVE Gaeul confessed, “I often eat alone. I haven’t tried eating alone at a meat restaurant yet.”
Hearing this, Jeon So Min said, “I grilled and ate beef tenderloin, eel alone. I ordered one serving, packed porridge then went.”
Jeon So Min bewildered everyone by adding, “At the restaurant, they thought I was pregnant. I think it’s because people don’t usually go to a meat restaurant alone.”
Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Chan, who were listening to Jeon So Min’s remarks, also seemed to be bewildered for a while, but eventually burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, Korea is developing the culture of eating alone compared to the past. The reasons are the increase in the number of single-person households and the fact that people can secure personal time by eating alone during lunch time.
