tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” unveiled the script reading site.
tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” (hereinafter referred to as “The Uncanny Counter 2”), which is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year, is a refreshing and exciting hero drama about “Counters”, who are demon hunters disguised as employees of a noodle restaurant, defeating demons on Earth.
“The Uncanny Counter” became the highest-rated OCN series so far and stood tall as a trustworthy hit IP. In “The Uncanny Counter 2”, all the main characters will join, including Jo Byung Gyu (as So Mun), Yoo Jun Sang (as Ga Mo Tak), Kim Se Jeong (as Do Ha Na), Yeom Hye Ran (as Choo Mae Ok) and Ahn Suk Hwan (as Choi Jang Mul).
Besides, there will be new cast members such as Jin Seon Kyu (as Joo Seok), Kang Ki Young (as Pil Kwang), Kim Hieora (as Gelli) and Yoo In Soo (as Jeok Bong).
At the script reading site of “The Uncanny Counter 2”, PD Yoo Seon Dong, writer Kim Sae Bom and major cast members including Jo Byung Gyu, Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Se Jeong, Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, Jin Seon Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora and Yoo In Soo attended.
PD Yoo Seon Dong heated up the site, “It’s a new feeling. Existing Counters and staff, thank you for coming together. We also strongly welcome newly joined actors and staff.” Yoo Jun Sang raised expectations for “The Uncanny Counter 2” by saying, “Let’s go together until season 7.”
