The scene where Park Ji Hyun actually got angry in “Reborn Rich” is an adlib?

Actress Park Ji Hyun revealed her inner feelings towards Kim Nam Hee during the filming of “Reborn Rich.”

In a video posted on the official YouTube channel of the JTBC drama on Dec 22nd, Park Ji Hyun and Kim Nam Hee joined to do various corners of drama commentaries, Q&A, and OX quizzes.

In the drama, Kim Nam Hee plays Jin Sung Joon, the heir of a conglomerate family, while Park Ji Hyun plays Mo Hyun Min, the eldest daughter of a media company and Jin Sung Joon’s wife. Starting with a political marriage, the two seem to hate each other, but continuously show a chemistry that confuses viewers whether they actually love each other or not.

In the video, the two revealed an unknown story behind while watching scenes of them from their first meeting to their life as a married couple. In particular, Park Ji Hyun was surprised at the scene where Jin Sung Joon came into the bride’s waiting room to meet Mo Hyun Min before the wedding and expressed his feelings. She shared, “It was the second time I was angry while acting. The first time was because of Kim Nam Hee.”

In the scene, Jin Sung Joon relaxingly applied lip balm, and he revealed his inner feelings to Mo Hyun Min just before their wedding, making the bride shook in anger. Jin Sung Joon then suddenly stroked her cheek and soon cleared up his pretentious face.

Park Ji Hyun laughingly said, “I was shocked by this scene.” Kim Nam Hee also burst into laughter, saying, “Look at the hateful expression Park Ji Hyun gave me.”

It turned out that the scene of applying lip balm and the pretentious expression was an ad-lib that Kim Nam Hee thought of. The scene of him stroking Park Ji Hyun’s cheek was also chosen by the director among several different shots.

Kim Nam Hee revealed that his pretentious expression came from actual experience. He explained, “That expression kept coming out during my real wedding. I had to keep smiling because I meet so many people, but I was so tired. That scene happened as I remembered how I forced myself to smile again when I had to meet guests again after just a short break.”
