The release date of the highly anticipated action film “The Roundup 3” is still uncertain, despite rumors circulating online.
On March 27th, a representative of “The Roundup 3” production team confirmed that the release date of May 31st, which was previously reported by some sources, is not yet confirmed.
“The Roundup 3” follows the story of “monster detective” Ma Seok Do (played by Ma Dong Seok) and the Gangseo police force as they tackle a major crime operation.
The first film was released in 2017 and attracted a large audience of 6.88 million viewers, while the second film, which was released in May of 2022, recorded a whopping 12.69 million viewers. The franchise’s popularity has led fans to eagerly await the release of the third installment.
In “The Roundup 3” (also known as “The Roundup: No Way Out”, viewers can look forward to the return of Yoon Kye Sang and Son Seok Gu from the previous films, along with newcomers Lee Jun Hyuk and Japanese actor Munechika Aoki, who will play the villains in the movie.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the release date of “The Roundup 3,” fans remain excited about the upcoming film. The previous installments have garnered a large following and high praise for their action-packed plotlines and dynamic characters.
In addition to the excitement surrounding the third film, fans can also look forward to the upcoming release of “The Roundup 4.” The movie was confirmed for production earlier this year and began filming in the Philippines in late February.
