“The Red Sleeve” Lee Se-young beat Kim Da-mi and Kwon Na-ra to top the hot topic chart for 6 weeks straight
MBC’s drama “The Red Sleeve” topped both the TV drama hot topic chart and the cast hot topic chart.
According to the TV drama hot topic chart released by Good Data Corporation on Jan 4th, “The Red Sleeve” topped the list for 8 weeks in a row. It was followed by “Our Beloved Summer“ and “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls“.
In the cast chart, Lee Se-young and Lee Jun-ho – the leading actors of “The Red Sleeve” – continued to rank first and second for the sixth consecutive week. They were followed by “Our Beloved Summer” couple Kim Da-mi & Choi Woo-sik.
“The Red Sleeve” is a sad court romance drama between the king who chooses his responsibility to his country over his love, and the court lady who is willing to protect the life she chose.
The 16th and 17th episodes of “The Red Sleeve”, which ended on Jan 1st, recorded nationwide viewership ratings of 17.0% and 17.4% respectively.
