The reason why the Mexican ambassador to Korea cheered for BTS Jin’s Samsung advertisement
The Mexican ambassador left a comment on BTS Jin’s Samsung advertising photo, drawing great attention from the public.
Samsung Electronics, where BTS is currently the global model, recently held an online ‘Samsung Galaxy Unpack 2022’ event and released new videos and pictures of the famous group.
Bruno Figueroa, the Mexican ambassador to the Republic of Korea, quoted Jin‘s photo posted on Samsung Mobile’s official Twitter account with the caption, “Jin’s Mukbangs just got tastier with the GalaxyS22 Plus.”
The released photo shows Jin, with black hair partly showing his forehead, taking a picture of a taco dish with a Galaxy. As Jin lowered his beautiful eyes while taking pictures of the food, his dark eyebrows, sculpture-like high nose, attractive lip lines, and the small face with the perfect beauty drew admiration from viewers.
Mexican Ambassador Bruno Figueroa also commented, “Jin, a member of BTS, appeared in a Samsung commercial… Shrimp taco!! Another example of the interconnection between Mexico and Korea.” Taco is one of Mexico’s famous traditional dishes. It is a thin bread made of kneaded corn or wheat called tortilla, wrapping various fillings such as meat, seafood, vegetables, and drizzled with salsa sauce.
When the Mexican ambassador was happy to see the idol taking pictures of his country’s food, Korean fans expressed their equal excitement, saying, “We would also be happy if a foreign superstar took pictures of kimchi.”
This is not the only diplomat who is interested in Jin. In December last year, the official South Korean Embassy in South Korea started the event of “Super Tuna Dance Challenge” with actual prizes for winners, which became a global phenomenon. A Marine Diplomat of the Embassy joined the challenge as well.
Meanwhile, Samsung Mobile‘s official account recently released another photo of Jin with the caption, “Nightography with #Jin. Worldwide Handsome even in low-light. Captured with the #GalaxyS22 Ultra.”
Jin always boasts an outstanding compatibility with Samsung thanks to his charming, handsome visuals, refined aura, and natural acting skills.
Jin, with a splendid and luxurious beauty, appeared with fellow member Jungkook in elegant tuxedos in the videos for ‘GalaxyxBTS: The Strange Tailor Shop’, which were released on Samsung’s official YouTube channel. He drew explosive global responses with his face, physique, and acting skills.
Director Ko Han-ki, who filmed Samsung’s ‘The Strange Tailor Shop’, posted on his Instagram account the advertisement video along with the hashtags of Jin and Jungkook and said, “The thing that I like the most about these members is their manners and attitude towards the staff and work ^^”.
Choreographer Lee Woo-tae, who was in charge of choreography and directing the advertisement, posted a screenshot of a comment left by Jin mentioning Samsung advertisements on the fan community Weverse, onto his Instagram story.
Choreographer Lee Woo-tae praised Jin’s dancing skills and his speed of learning the choreography, saying, “He was the best” with a thumbs-up emoji. He added, “I was confused by the situation where I had to teach him the dance in an hour, but I was surprised that he did it perfectly.”
Prior to that, in the pictorial ‘Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition’ published on Samsung’s official Twitter account, Jin gained enthusiastic responses with his dazzling beauty and how he excellently nailed the concept.
In every advertisement released, Jin’s pictorials bring out sensational reactions. Samsung US’s official Twitter account openly showed affection to the male idol with a purple heart emoji, writing, “Jin serving legendary looks”.
Samsung Mobile‘s official account quoted Jin’s mirror selfies and added a flattering caption, “Worldwide handsome’ flexing them angles”, together with blazing fire and purple heart emojis.
Fans left comments such as, “He’s so innocently handsome. Jin’s just my taste”, “Wow, he’s really handsome”, “What’s with Jin’s face? It’s crazy.
