The mother of the late Moon Bin and Billlie’s Moon Sua asks people to stop making rumors about her son.
On June 13th, the official fan cafe of ASTRO uploaded a post by Fantagio with the late Moon Bin’s mother’s message.
Fantagio stated, “First of all, we express our gratitude to the fans who have always been with ASTRO. We apologize deeply for delivering unpleasant news to the precious fan cafe. Below is a message directly conveyed by Moon Bin’s mother. This announcement will be posted for a certain period of time.“
Moon Bin’s mother wrote, “First, despite the long distance, I received a lot of comfort from the letters, flowers, and heartfelt affection from fans who visited and cared for my son. I am truly grateful, and I hope that fans will also be filled with comfort and good health.“
Moon Bin’s mother continued, “The reason I am writing this post is because I know that everyone mourns and misses my son, but I saw that indiscriminate rumors were being made in some small communities. These rumors are extremely difficult for me as a mother to see. I am worried that not only will they cause harm to many people due to false rumors, but also that the hearts of fans who sincerely miss our son will be hurt.“
Moon Bin’s mother revealed the reason for posting on the official fan cafe, “I earnestly request that no more unchecked facts and rumors be created, hoping that my son will not be misrepresented by such gossip. I hope that the fans who Bin loved so much will not live with a painful heart. I sincerely thank all of you.”
Moon Bin passed away on April 19th at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He was 25 years old. Since June 7th, Moon Bin’s family has set up a commemorative space called ‘Moon’s Space’ in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
