“Take philopon with Nam Tae-hyun” Seo Min-jae changes her name to Seo Eun-woo “I want a fresh start”

Broadcaster Seo Min-jae, who faces allegations of drug use along with singer Nam Tae-hyun, revealed that she changed her name

On the morning of Oct 19th, the first trial date for the drug law violations related to narcotics management with Nam Tae-hyun and Seo Min-jae was held at Criminal Division 7 of the Seoul Western District Court.

Nam Tae-hyun revealed his personal information, “I was born on May 10th, 1994, and my occupation is singer.” While Seo Min-jae was stating her personal information, she mentioned that there was a change and disclosed that she changed her name to “Seo Eun-woo”.

Nam Tae-hyun and Seo Min-jae are accused of purchasing philopon then administering 0.2g of philopon by diluting it in alcohol at Seo Min-jae’s residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul in August last year. Both admitted to the charges.

After the trial, Seo Min-jae appeared before the press and apologized, “I would like to express my apology once again.” Regarding her name change, she explained, “I decided to change my name with the intention of making a fresh start personally.“

Meanwhile, the next trial for Nam Tae-hyun and Seo Min-jae is scheduled for Dec 7th at 10:20 AM.
