“Cobweb”, which was invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival (2023) in the non-competitive section, has confirmed its release for the upcoming Chuseok holiday (Mid-Autumn Holiday) and unveiled teaser posters and a preview.

It is known that when it was first introduced to global audiences at the Cannes Film Festival, “Cobweb” received enthusiastic applause and a standing ovation lasting 12 minutes, demonstrating a high level of approval.

“Cobweb” revolves around director Kim (played by Song Kang Ho), who is obsessed over the fact that the ending of the 1970s movie “Cobweb”, would be better if it were refilmed. It depicts the various events that unfold while filming under conditions.

Regardless of the 1970s or the present, the teaser poster of “Cobweb” captures the back view of director Kim, who is always at the film set, sitting on a director’s chair with his name on it. The caption “It becomes a masterpiece if you re-film only the ending” arouses curiosity about the story.

In addition to the sense of responsibility and weight that any director must bear, the teaser also portrays the determination of actor Song Kang Ho, who played director Kim, towards creating a masterpiece.
