“Single’s Inferno” Moon Se Hoon’s side expressed their position that it was “groundless” regarding the recent dating rumors with (G)I-DLE Soyeon.
According to OSEN on August 21st, an official from Moon Se Hoon’s agency Chorokbaem E&M denied the dating rumors, saying, “The rumors are not true at all.”
They continued, “Who would go to the department store together that openly if they were really dating?“
They explained, “Moon Se Hoon has a bright and cheerful personality, so he has many close friends around him. He recently went shopping for clothes. It seems that the two went together by chance.“
They added, “We know that Moon Se Hoon is close to many celebrities, not only Soyeon.”
Recently, a post titled “Department store date photo of Single’s Inferno Moon Se Hoon and (G)I-DLE Soyeon” spread on various online communities.
The post drew attention as it included a photo of a man and a woman who appeared to be Moon Se Hoon and Soyeon buying clothes at a department store located in Apgujeong.
In the photo, Soyeon seemed unaware of being photographed as she was paying, but Moon Se Hoon looked surprised.
The poster wrote, “June 27th, 2023, (G)I-DLE Soyeon, Single’s Inferno 1 Moon Se Hoon.”
Since then, suspicions of a romantic relationship between the two have been raised.
Meanwhile, Soyeon was born in 1998 and debuted with (G)I-DLE in 2018.
She was recognized for her musical capabilities by directly producing the group’s tracks, from the debut song “LATATA” to “Nxde”.
Moon Se Hoon (born in 1995) is running a Western-style restaurant. He made his face known through Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno” in 2021.
Last April, he announced his full-fledged broadcasting activities by signing an exclusive contract with Chorokbaem E&M.
