Shin Dong Wook admits to staring at Song Hye Kyo foolishly on set of “Now We Are Breaking Up”

Shin Dong Wook said he forgot his own name while filming with Song Hye Kyo in “Now, We Are Breaking Up”.

Recently, on his own Instagram, Shin Dong Wook – the actor who took on the role of Yoon Soo Wan in the drama Now, We Are Breaking Up, shared a post with a sweet caption about Song Hye Kyo.

He wrote, “If you meet Ha Young Eun (Song Hye Kyo) for the first time, you will stare at her foolishly. You will even forget your own name in that moment. Isn’t this the beginning of love?“

In the drama, Yoon Soo Wan, played by Shin Dong Wook, is Ha Young Eun’s ex-boyfriend. The two met and shared a sweet time dating in France. On a rainy day after they were back in Korea, Ha Young Eun was waiting for her boyfriend at dinner but Yoon Soo Wan did not show up.  She then thought he stood her up and lost contact with him for 10 years. 

This strongly hurt Ha Young Eun, making her no longer believe in love. However, the truth is not what Ha Young Eun thinks. That night, Yoo Soo Wan died in a car accident, so he couldn’t keep his promise. After knowing the truth, Ha Young Eun burst into tears in regret.

Now, We Are Breaking Up revolves around Ha Young Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo). She is a design team leader at a major fashion brand who always keeps up with fashion trends. Ha Young Eun is a typical modern woman who is both independent and talented but strong and cold. Her life changes when the freelance photographer Yoon Jae Guk (played by Jang Ki Yong) appears. He is handsome, rich, famous and smart as well.
