SEVENTEEN’s BooSeokSoon had a AAA season that they will never forget.
Recently, SEVENTEEN’s BooSeokSoon made their presence felt at AAA 2023, leaving impressive moments. Representing SEVENTEEN, BooSeokSoon is a sub-unit consisting of three members: Hoshi, DK, and Boo Seungkwan.
As a rare representative of the third-generation idols attending this year’s awards, BooSeokSoon often identifies themselves as a fourth-generation idol group as they made debut in 2018. SEVENTEEN as a whole, and BooSeokSoon specifically, have had a dedicated year, reaching the pinnacle of their careers. At AAA, SEVENTEEN won the Daesang for Album of the Year with the mini-album “FML,” and BooSeokSoon won the Daesang for Performance of the Year.
While receiving the award, BooSeokSoon didn’t forget to keep fans excited. Responding to their fans, the trio pushed themselves into the spotlight with the theme “Idol group about to receive truck for not mentioning their fandom when receiving the Daesang.”
BooSeokSoon expressed continuous gratitude for the Daesang, thanking Carats—the SEVENTEEN fandom—for their enthusiastic support. However, they forgot their unit’s fandom, TteokTwiSoon, a combination of three Korean foods: tteokbokki (rice cake), twigim (fried food), and sundae (Korean blood sausage), creating a playful stir among fans.

The group showcased their prowess at AAA with an explosive stage performance. From “7PM” to “Just Do It” and “Fighting,” BooSeokSoon set the stage on fire literally.
With soaring live vocals, DK and Seungkwan’s charisma shone brightly, perfectly complemented by the top-tier dance skills of Hoshi, a leading main dancer of the third generation. BooSeokSoon’s AAA stage earned widespread acclaim immediately after airing.
Alongside their close friend Lee Youngji, BooSeokSoon brought joyous laughter, making the audience want to dance along. The trio’s final funny moment before the show’s end featured DK treating the audience to a shirtless twerk, igniting the stage.
