In particular, the female celeb said in a TikTok live, “I’m going to be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. I’m 30 and am too old for this. But I love you so much and I’ll see you guys sooner than later. I’m just gonna take a break from everything.”

Selena Gomez also added, “I’m very happy, I’m so blessed. I have the best friends and the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn’t be happier. I’m good, I love the way I am, I don’t care.”

As for the reason behind this break, People cited Selena’s reaction to a mocking gag video, which features Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, his wife Hailey Bieber and Taylor Swift.

On the other hand, Selena Gomez had taken several SNS breaks in the past. In 2019, the pop star revealed that Instagram was not on her phone, since negative comments on her posts depressed her.
