Ryu Jun-yeol & Kim Tae-ri Shows Close Friendship, “It’s Awkward To Congratulate Each Other On Winning Awards”
SBS PowerFM’s “Park Ha-sun’s Cinetown” broadcast on the morning of January 10th featured the guest appearances of Ryu Jun-yeol and Kim Tae-ri, the main cast of the movie “Alienoid Part 2”.
Kim Tae-ri won Daesang at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards, while Ryu Jun-yeol was awarded Best Actor at the 2023 Chunsa Film Art Awards. Taking this opportunity, the two applauded each other.
As Ryu Jun-yeol didn’t know she won Daesang, Kim Tae-ri jokingly asked, “Are you ignoring SBS?”. In response, Ryu Jun-yeol laughed and said, “Sometimes I read the news but sometimes I don’t. That day, I didn’t read the news”.
When asked about their friendship, Ryu Jun-yeol shared, “As you can see, this is how close we are”. Kim Tae-ri added, “We are really close friends”.
Ryu Jun-yeol wondered, “Isn’t it a little awkward for us to congratulate each other on winning an award?”. In addition, Kim Tae-ri once said in an interview that she always bickers with Ryu Jun-yeol, but behind those bickering moments, they are always grateful and kind to each other.
Kim Tae-ri commented, “We will continue to be like that. I always think that he’s a great actor and a good friend who will always be by my side on the path I take and become my source of strength”.
