Another Victim Exposed Song Ha-yoon’s School Violence, “I Was Hospitalized For More Than 4 Weeks After Getting Hit”
Another victim came forward to refute actress Song Ha-yoon’s denial of school violence allegations through "Crime Chief"
On April 8th, JTBC’s “Crime Chief” released an exclusive interview with A, who raised Song Ha-yoon’s school violence allegations.
“Crime Chief” staff asked A, “Let me ask you about this specifically. Did you also hit Song Ha-yoon?”. In response, A said, “Yes. The disciplinary committee and the forced transfer were so obvious that all of my classmates know about it”.
They continued, “The issue was that big, and I got hit a lot. I was hospitalized for more than 4 weeks”, adding “The two friends who used to be close with me came to my house. They knelt down and apologized. Kim Mi-sun (Song Ha-yoon’s real name) never apologized”.
According to A, who claimed to have been Song Ha-yoon’s school violence victim, there were several perpetrators. Two female students among the perpetrators at that time used to be close friends with A and there were no problems between them before the issue happened. However, the atmosphere changed when Song Ha-yoon was transferred to the school.
Song Ha-yoon reportedly separated them by telling the friends that A was spreading bad rumors about them, leading to group assaults. In the process, Song Ha-yoon also assaulted A directly with her hands and feet. A emphasized, “It’s such a lie if I say she (Song Ha-yoon) did not hit me.”
A explained, “I was injured and had to stay in the hospital for more than 4 weeks. A discipline committee was held, and the perpetrators, including Song Ha-yoon, were forced to transfer to other schools”. This disclosure is contrary to the position from Song Ha-yoon’s side, claiming that it was a “voluntary transfer” rather than a “forced transfer”.
Earlier, Song Ha-yoon’s agency explained, “The perpetrators were other students and the actress only informed the school about the victim, who was her deskmate, which led to her involvement in school violence. Worried about its impact on her career, she voluntarily transferred to another school”. However, A countered, “I was absent from school that day and they called me out to assault me outside the school. The desks in our school were placed in single rows so I had no deskmate at all”.
When “Crime Chief” asked, “Can you accept Song Ha-yoon’s apology now?”, A firmly said, “I can accept other friends’ apologies but I don’t want to accept hers”. They continued, “I don’t think she will apologize because she wants to do it. Because of her, I lost my high school life. I have no friends left. Thinking about how she separated me from other friends, I still feel so unfair. I didn’t have any bad feelings for her so I wonder why she had done that to me.”
Song Ha-yoon’s school violence suspicions began to spread when the first informant B reported it to “Crime Chief” on April 1st. B was a male student a year younger than Song Ha-yoon at the same high school. He claimed that Song Ha-yoon called him out and slapped him for 90 minutes without any reason.
As a controversy arose, Song Ha-yoon’s agency King Kong by Starship denied the allegations on the 2nd and announced their plan to take legal action. Later on the same day, B delivered additional disclosures through “Crime Chief”, insisting on Song Ha-yoon being guilty of school violence.
