“Pyramid Game” teaser trailer released: Jang Won-young’s sister Jang Da-ah, “Single’s Inferno 2” Shin Seul-ki and more

“Pyramid Game” (directed by Park So-yeon, written by Choi Soo-yi, created by Lee Jae-kyu, produced by Film Monster·CJ ENM Studios, provided by TVING) tells the story of an all-girls high school where popularity polls are used to rank students in class, and the differential treatment leads to school violence. Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name (by Dalggonyak), it follows transfer student Seong Su-ji (played by Kim Ji-yeon), who gets entangled in a pyramid game and becomes a victim of school violence but leads a rebellion in the midst of it.

Directed by Park So-yeon and written by Choi Soo-yi, the series features a cast of talented newcomers such as Kim Ji-yeon (WJSN Bona), Jang Da-ah (Jang Won-young’s older sister), Ryu Da-in, Shin Seul-ki (Single’s Inferno 2), Kang Na-eon, Jeong Ha-dam and Ha Yul-ri.

The main poster depicts the cruel game’s stage, stimulating curiosity about the story’s setting. The teaser trailer introduces Seong Su-ji (Kim Ji-yeon)’s journey into the harsh world of the pyramid game and hints at her rebellion against the system. The series promises intense drama and psychological warfare among the students.

TVING’s original series “Pyramid Game” will be released on TVING on Feb 29th (Thursday).
