Oh My Girl Hyojung will cancel all schedules, only one week after comeback?

Only one week after Oh My Girl’s comeback, Hyojung, a member, had to cancel all schedules starting today (July 31st). 

On July 31st, Oh My Girl’s agency, WM Entertainment, issued a statement. According to this statement, Oh My Girl Hyojung will cancel all schedules starting from the same day.

The full statement from WM is as below: 

“Hello.

This is WM Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about Oh My Girl Hyojung’s COVID-19 diagnosis.

Hyojung received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis through a rapid antigen test conducted today (31st) due to mild cold symptoms.

Following the guidelines recommended by the health authorities, Hyojung will suspend all schedules for five days and take necessary measures and rest. Other members, excluding Hyojung, tested negative, and there are no particular abnormal symptoms at present.

Therefore, during the recommended isolation period, scheduled activities will involve the five members excluding Hyojung. Hyojung will resume her activities after confirming sufficient recovery.

Our company will prioritize the artist’s health and safety and make every effort to focus on treatment.
