NewJeans’s Minji recently responded to a recent compliment by famous athlete Hwang Hee-chan
On the afternoon of the 14th, SPOTV published a video featuring famous Korean soccer players Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan. The two, who recently faced each other in the Premier League, took time to answer questions on topics related to Korea.
In particular, when asked what kind of music he listens to a lot, Son Heung-min answered without hesitation, “BTS”, whilst Hwang Hee-chan humorously said, “This is difficult. There is so much music I listen to. If I were to talk about it all, I couldn’t finish within today.”
Then, when asked what is there in Chuncheon, a region in Korea, Son Heung-min hesitated before mentioning a lot of things.
Meanwhile, Hwang Hee-chan proudly boasted that Son Heung-min is from Chuncheon, before shyly adding NewJeans’s Minji as a pride of Chuncheon.
This news was later relayed to Minji through NewJeans’s communication app Phoning, to which Minji responded, “I’m the pride of Chuncheon??? That’s too much praise.”
