New boy group of SM Entertainment will be called “RIIZE”?

Rumors have emerged about the name and lineup of SM Entertainment’s new boy group, which is set to debut soon.

On July 22nd, netizens discovered that SM Entertainment has applied for a new trademark over “Rise&Realize” and “RIIZE”, since May 24th, 2023. This is the same day where SM released statement over debuting a new boy group within 2023.

In addition, SNS accounts with the name “RIIZE_OFFICIAL” were discovered on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with the first 3 being created in April 2023.

Moreover, the Instagram account “RIIZE_OFFICIAL” was registered using a business email suspected to be of SM Entertainment, raising suspicions that RIIZE, or Rise&Realize, is the name of SM’s upcoming boy group.

On the other hand, it was previously revealed that former NCT members Sungchan and Shotaro will join the lineup of SM’s new boy group, alongside trainees Eunseok and Seunghan. Lee Chan Young, the oldest son of famous musician Yoon Sang, along with 2 others hidden trainees, are also rumored to be members of the group.
