Jennie of BLACKPINK shared her feelings with W Korea about being selected as a campaign model for the luxury brand Chanel.
On Oct 28th, magazine W Korea uploaded on its official YouTube channel an interview video titled “Who does Jennie want to give a gift to this Christmas?”
Jennie, who first started her Chanel career as Chanel’s Ambassador in 2017, was selected as a model for the global campaign for the Chanel 2021/22 “Coco Neige” collection this year. Jennie said, “It was such an honor. To be able to go to Paris and work in person was meaningful and exciting for me.”
Jennie also said, “The most memorable moment while working as an Ambassador was when I first went to their show. I still remember that moment vividly,” she recalled, “I was so excited to be the first person to wear a collection outfit. The trip to Paris to meet the Chanel team was awesome as well.” Jennie boasted shyly, saying, “It feels so good seeing my face on the Chanel website.”
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK plans to attend the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) on November 1st and 2nd and deliver a message at the World Leader’s Summit hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to raise awareness of climate change and protect the environment.
