SM Entertainment heralded legal action against the sasaeng fan who invaded NCT Jaehyun’s private life.
On August 21st, videos inside the hotel where NCT Jaehyun stayed were released online.
The videos were filmed secretly inside the hotel where the members stayed during NCT 127’s U.S. tour in October last year. A foreign sasaeng fan stole Jaehyun’s hotel room card key and broke into the room. The fan filmed videos and shared them on her account, causing controversy.
SM Entertainment told Newsen on August 22nd, “The videos were illegally taken and seriously invaded the artist’s private life. We are collecting data on the person who first uploaded the videos and everyone who redistributed them.“
They added, “We will request investigative agencies to conduct a thorough investigation with the cooperation of domestic and foreign websites and law firms.”
