“My Dearest” will return with Part 2 on the 13th of October
MBC’s Fri-Sat drama “My Dearest” wrapped up Part 1 on September 2nd with high ratings and huge love from viewers. According to Nielsen Korea, the last episode achieved a nationwide rating of 12.2% and 11.5% in Seoul area, breaking its own highest rating record. It also topped the popularity charts of all dramas for three consecutive weeks.
Part 2, which has been confirmed to premiere on the 13th of next month, is expected to show the change in the characters and the atmosphere between Jang Hyun (Nam Goong Min) and Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin) after their heartbreaking breakup.
In this regard, the production team stated, “The stories of people who were taken to the Qing after the invasion will unfold together the fate of Jang Hyun and Gil Chae with interesting developments”.
They continued, “New stories of characters who appeared in the latter part of Part 1 played by Lee Chung Ah, Ji Seung Hyun, Moon Sung Geun and So Yoo Jin will add dynamics to the relationship between the main characters”.
Actor Nam Goong Min shared, “A more captivating and beautiful love story than that in Part 1 is waiting in Part 2. I can’t wait to tell you about that”. Ahn Eun Jin also said, “Thanks to the love from viewers, I gained more strength to continue the filming. I will meet you again with a deeper and more interesting story in Part 2”.
