Sandara Park Recalls Her Work In The Philippines Before Idol Debut, “I Couldn’t Sleep For A Year”
Singer Sandara Park talked about when she worked in the Philippines before making her debut as a member of the girl group 2NE1
The new broadcast of TV Chosun’s entertainment program “Lovers of Joseon”, scheduled to air on March 25th, will show singers Thunder and Mimi, who are preparing for their wedding in May, having a drinking party with their sisters Sandara Park and Park Durami.
In the recent recording, Thunder’s second eldest sister Park Durami recalled Sandara Park’s debut in the Philippines, saying “You were much weaker back then, but you couldn’t sleep due to your busy schedules”. In response, Sandara Park calmly said, “When I was active in the Philippines, I couldn’t sleep for a whole year. But I endured it because I couldn’t give up”. With teary eyes, Park Durami said, “You were burdened with too much responsibility as the oldest among us and the head of the family”.
Thunder and Mimi looked sad upon hearing the story of Sandara Park, who had to work hard at the age of 19 because she was the head of the family. Mimi said to Sandara Park, “He (Thunder) told me a lot about you. He always said he should take over the burden of his sister”, conveying Thunder’s feelings. In the end, Sandara Park began crying and Mimi also shed tears.
The new episode will air at 10 p.m. on March 25th.
