BLACKPINK Lisa has surpassed 95 million followers on Instagram, setting a new Guinness World Record.
As of June 18th (Korean time), Lisa’s official Instagram account has surpassed 95 million followers.
Surpassing 95 million Instagram followers is the first record among domestic celebrities. According to Guinness World Records, Lisa has set the world record for “most Instagram followers by a K-pop artist.”
Among Asians, Lisa ranks third in terms of followers. Indian comedian Bharti Singh is in first place with approximately 250 million followers, and Israeli actress Gal Gadot is in second place with approximately 140 million followers. When expanding to a global scale, Lisa ranks 38th among celebrities.
In addition, according to marketing analytics company HypeAuditor, BLACKPINK’s Lisa ranked 7th on the Instagram Top Music Influencers chart. Lisa stood shoulder to shoulder with top Instagram music influencers such as Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Beyoncé.
According to HypeAuditor’s Audience Geo, Lisa has gained significant popularity in Indonesia (9.9%), Brazil (7.1%), Thailand (6.2%), the United States (5.8%), and South Korea (5.1%).
Furthermore, Lisa was analyzed as the most searched K-pop female idol in the first half of 2023 on Google. Particularly, based on Google’s accumulated trend data, Lisa was selected as the K-pop female idol with the highest search volume from 2017 to 2023.
