A leaked photo raises fans’ expectation about BLACKPINK’s contract renewal with YG Entertainment.
Recently, a poster titled “BLACKPINK – BORN PINK WORLD TOUR” taking place on August 22nd, 2023 was displayed on a billboard in San Francisco, California. Because there was no prior announcement from YG Entertainment, netizens believe this to be an error from the organizing committee.
According to the information on the billboard, the concert will take place at Oracle Park, California. The venue can hold up to 42,3 thousand people. If the concert turns out to be real, there is a high chance that BLACKPINK members will renew their contracts with YG, as the concert is held on a date past the expiry date of the original contracts.
At the same time, in January, BLACKPINK was announced a headlining act for the Coachella’s main stage for two days, April 15th and 22nd, 2023. A rumored setlist was passed around among fans, showing a whopping number of 14 group performances and 4 solos for each member. Coincidentally, almost all of the performances were the same as the ones from BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” concert.
