Chuu, Expelled from ‘LOONA’, Signs Surprise Contract with New Agency

Chuu has signed a surprise contract with a new agency, and netizens have also left supportive comments upon hearing the news.

Chuu recently suffered from mental distress due to her agency issues. Her former agency, Blockberry Creative, expelled her from the group ‘LOONA’ on November 25th of last year. At the time, Chuu refuted the claims, saying, “I have never done anything to be ashamed of.”

ATRP announced on the 7th, “We are very pleased to welcome Chuu as our first artist.” They added, “We will spare no effort to support Chuu, who has infinite potential, to fully express her talents and continue to enjoy happy and enjoyable activities. We ask for a lot of support and interest in Chuu’s new leap.”

Chuu’s agency ATRP is a newly established entertainment company led by CEO Kim Jin-mi, who was in charge of WM Entertainment. Kim was the person who directly discovered groups B1A4, Oh My Girl, and ONF during her time at WM Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Chuu, born in 1999, is only 24 years old this year. Her real name is Kim Ji-woo. She debuted in 2017 as a member of the girl group ‘LOONA.’ She has released various hit songs and gained immense popularity both domestically and internationally.

In addition to her group activities, Chuu has shown her unique lovely and positive energy in various fields, including variety programs, advertisements, and pictorials.
