“My Dearest” Expected To Wrap Up Filming Successfully With Last Shoot On Nov 18th

MBC’s drama “My Dearest” will end its prolonged filming process on November 18th

According to Xports News’s report on November 8th, MBC’s Fri-Sat drama “My Dearest” will end its long journey after the final filming on November 18th.

“My Dearest” has been doing very well and is enjoying both double-digit ratings and top popularity at the same time. As the team will carry out their final shoot on November 18th, viewers are looking forward to a satisfying ending.

Set during the Qing invasion of Joseon, “My Dearest” is a human historical melodrama about the romance of lovers and the survival of people in war. The drama stars Namkoong Min, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Hak-joo, Lee Da-in, Kim Yoon-woo and Lee Chung-ah.

“My Dearest” is released in two parts, each with 10 episodes. Following Part 1, which aired for the first time on August 4th, Part 2 started broadcasting on October 13th and is scheduled to end on November 17th. Starting with a rating of 5.4% in episode 1, the viewership performance has improved through each episode and peaked at 12.2%.

Recently, MBC announced that they were positively considering extending the episodes. However, they did not specifically reveal how many episodes they would extend. 

In the meantime, the follow-up drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” has been planned to air on November 24th. Therefore, it is speculated that “My Dearest” will increase one episode on November 18th.

As filming continues until just before the final broadcast, viewers are having high expectations for the drama to maintain a good performance till the end.
