Jessi Explains Why She Reveals Smoking And Plastic Surgery Stories, “It’s Funny To Hide It”

Singer Jessi once again impressed viewers with her honest charm and confidence

On October 4th, the YouTube channel “Diggle” uploaded the new episode of “The Kstar Next Door” featuring the guest appearance of Jessi. Appearing on the show, Jessi showcased her extraordinary entertainment skills with MC Jonathan.

In the video, Jonathan asked, “Do you admit that you’re a ‘sexy thug’?”. In response, Jessi said, “How can we always be sexy? But my mind is sexy. That gives me confidence”.

Regarding the photos of her revealing outfits, the female singer said, “I wore that in Korea for the Waterbomb. It’s perfect for the event”, showing her satisfaction. She raised her voice and said, “How come men can go shirtless? Why can men do that but not women?”

Later, Jonathan mentioned another topic, saying “Jessi is a transfer pro who keeps changing her agency”. It is because Jessi used to be under P Nation led by Psy. However, her exclusive contract expired in July last year. After working independently without a company for a few months, she moved to Jay Park’s agency More Vision. Comparing the two companies, Jessi shared, “P Nation was like an army. But this agency (More Vision) is like very free”. When Jonathan asked her to choose between Psy and Jay Park, Jessi firmly said, “I hate them both”.

Jonathan then commented, “One of the reasons people like you is your honesty. You revealed that you smoke and had plastic surgery. Why do you always try to be honest?”. Hearing that, Jessi replied, “I think it’s funny to hide it. If I get something done and go on TV, my face looks different. But if I say, ‘No, it’s just makeup’. That’s cringy”.

She continued, “Idols say they don’t smoke but they get caught. Then people will criticize them even more. Of course, smoking isn’t good”. Pointing at her chest, Jessi mentioned her plastic surgery experience, saying “No Korean is this big. I did it because I wanted to. I paid for it. Why do I have to hide it? I like to be bold”.
