A YouTube content video 2 years ago of child actress Kim Minseo, who appeared in Netflix’s original series “Mask Girl”, was re-examined.
Kim Minseo played Kim Yechun, Kim Mimo’s classmate, in “Mask Girl“. Born in 2009, Kim Minseo attracted viewers’ attention with impressive acting skills despite her young age.
Kim Minseo appeared in the video “Pretending not to know IU Challenge” of the YouTube channel “odg” in 2021.
Kim Minseo, who was in the 6th grade of elementary school at that time, picked IU as her favorite celebrity. IU appeared in front of her, but she acted as if she did not know IU until the end because of the concept “Pretending not to know”.
After finishing her acting, Kim Minseo happily greeted IU then burst into tears. She confessed, “I might have looked fine on the surface, but I almost went mad on the inside. It just doesn’t make sense.”
She expressed her affection as a fan towards IU, “I saw you using sign language in ‘My Mister’. I did that scene for my audition. That has opened up many opportunities for me. That’s all because of you. It’s my first time to like somebody this much, so I didn’t know what to do at first. Your new album will be out soon, but I couldn’t buy it yet. I need my mom’s permission.”
IU said, “I’ve been exhausted since the new album is coming out tomorrow. It’s been so hectic recently. In the midst of all that, I’m here with you, spending time together with an elementary school fan who likes me to the point where she bursts into tears. This means so much to me. And now I’m here looking at you liking me so much. This makes me think that I should become someone who can have a good influence on others. I learned a lesson today.”
Kim Minseo impressed fans as a child actress in tvN’s “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”, KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman”, “Café Minamdang” and SBS’ “The First Responders”.
