She won the Best New Female Artist award at the KBS Drama Awards and won the Best Couple trophy with Kim Soo-hyun.

She has also made her way to the big screen. In the movie “Architecture 101,” in which she worked with Lee Je-hoon, Suzy transformed into Seo-yeon, a first-year university student full of innocence and freshness.

Even though she was born in 1994, she expressed the emotions of a first year student in 1996 perfectly. The movie attracted more than 4 million viewers and Suzy became the nation’s first love.

She won the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actress in the Film category and the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards for Best Popular Star.

In the same year, the drama “Big” (2021), in which Suzy worked with Gong Yoo and Lee Min-jung, helped her take off her innocent image. She plays Jang Mary, a girl who has a passionate crush on Kang Kyung-joon (Shin Won-ho), who switched souls with Seo Yoon-jae (Gong Yoo).

In the 2013 drama “Gu Family Book,” Suzy played Dam Yeo-wool, a girl who trusted and loved Choi Kang-chi (Lee Seung-ki), a half-man-half-fox.

In addition to acting in dialect and male disguise, Suzy performed as a pansori singer after practicing for nearly a year before filming. The movie failed in box office, but it was a chance for Suzy to grow into an actress.

Even when Yumi knew she could get a prison sentence, she said, ‘Don’t worry. I survive on my own,’. She then lived by lying that she was a Chinese for the rest of her life.
