Lim Ji-yeon Impresses The Public With Her Honest Charm In Both Acting & Dating
Actress Lim Ji-yeon is receiving praise from the public as she has been sharing her friendly personality on various programs
Lim Ji-yeon recently made her comeback on the big screen with the movie “Revolver”, which premiered on August 7th. This is her first movie in three years since the release of “Spiritwalker” in 2021.
In “Revolver”, she plays the role of Jeong Yoon-sun, a madam of a club who hides her inner feelings and makes others question whether she’s a helper or a traitor of Ha Soo-young (Jeon Do-yeon). Lim Ji-yeon’s emotional expressions are said to have brought a dynamic presence to the movie.
During the promotion for “Revolver”, the actress also impressed the public with her easygoing personality and bright energy on programs.
Appearing on the web entertainment show “Pinggyego” on the 3rd, Lim Ji-yeon drew laughter with her answer when MC Yoo Jae-suk asked, “How were your school days?”. In particular, the actress said, “I was not famous but I wanted to be famous. I’m quite an attention-seeker”.
Known for her skinny body with a height of 166cm and a weight of 48kg, Lim Ji-yeon surprised everyone when she revealed herself as a “big eater” and that she could eat five packs of instant noodles. The actress even said, “There are a lot of mukbang YouTubers. I want to show my mukbang too”.
In addition, Lim Ji-yeon also confessed that she couldn’t hide her love story.
Lim Ji-yeon publicized her romantic relationship with actor Lee Do-hyun, who worked with her in “The Glory”, in April last year and the two are still dating publicly. Although Lee Do-hyun is currently serving in the military, they had a lovely reunion in May at the Baeksang Arts Awards as an award presenter and an award winner.
Regarding her romance with Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon said, “We got caught. What should we do more?”, adding “We don’t interfere much in each other’s work. We just support and give strength to each other. I hope we can always stay healthy and do well”.
Although Lim Ji-yeon became more known to the public with her villain image in “The Glory”, she already gained recognition for her outstanding acting skills with the role of Youngmi in the 2019 movie “Tazza: One Eyed Jack”. Even in “Revolver”, she also succeeded in showcasing her diverse charms with a high-tone voice and affectionate gaze when looking at Jeon Do-yeon.
