Lee Min Jung, “SNS is a channel for communication… I like leaving comments on my friends’ updates”

Actress Lee Min Jung honestly revealed the reason she is communicating actively through SNS.

Lee Min Jung had an interview for the upcoming movie “Switch” at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of December 29th. 

The actress confessed, “I want to communicate with fans, but it’s hard to hold a fanmeeting like we did in the past because I have to take care of the kid and his father (Lee Byung Hun).”

Lee Min Jung said, “The only way for me to communicate with fans is through words”, adding “That’s why I started leaving a lot of comments on SNS. Of course, I should be careful with my words, but since fans would understand me, I started using both informal and formal language when talking with them”.

She explained, “I don’t consider SNS activities parts of my work. I really really think it’s a channel for communication. I’m doing it because I want to answer fans when they share things”, adding “To be honest, I’m not good at using Instagram because my son uses my phone more than I do when I’m at home. However, I’m still trying to be active on SNS to interact with fans.”

In particular, Lee Min Jung often drew attention with her witty comments. The actress said, “I don’t like pressing ‘like’ on pictures but I leave comments on my friends’ updates”, adding “I enjoy writing comments and making some jokes with my fellow actors and friends”.

She added, “I have an SNS to show photos of my son to my family members only”, adding “I can’t send them photos every day, so I made the account to let grandmothers and grandfathers know about our whereabouts right away just by pressing the app.”

Meanwhile, “Switch”, starring Lee Min Jung, will premiere on January 4th, 2023.
