In the first episode of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest” (written by Hwang Jin Young / directed by Kim Sung Yong and Cheon Soo Jin), which premiered on August 4th, Yoo Gil Chae (played by Ahn Eun Jin), the daughter of a noble family, dreamed of a fateful love.
Yoo Gil Chae fell asleep dreaming, “I’ll definitely meet a fateful love. If I meet him in the future, I’ll give him an embroidered pillow. We’ll meet in my dream.”
Afterwards, in her dream, Yoo Gil Chae dropped a red bobbin while embroidering. The bobbin rolled and rolled then led her to a man on the beach.
The man picked up the bobbin and turned his head towards Yoo Gil Chae. Yoo Gil Chae asked, “Young Master, who are you?” The man replied, “I’ve been waiting for you, here, for a very long time.”
Soon, the man, who turned his back on the sunset, wrapped Yoo Gil Chae’s cheek and brought his lips closer and closer. However, Yoo Gil Chae was awakened by her confidant Jong Jong Yi (played by Park Jung Yeon), so she woke up without being able to match her lips with the man.
When Yoo Gil Chae shouted “Why do you wake me up!“, Jong Jong Yi asked excitedly, “Did you have that dream again? Then, with the young master who appeared in your dream today…” Yoo Gil Chae said, “I read books with him today. But why do you wake me up?“
