aespa Conquers All Fronts: From 1st Place in First-Week Sales to Music Shows and University Festivals
aespa is continuing their success with their new album “MY WORLD” and title track “Spicy.”
aespa won first place on three music shows: Mnet’s “M Countdown” on May 18th, KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on May 19th, and MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on May 20th, with their 3rd mini-album title track “Spicy.”
aespa also performed at Hanyang University Festival on May 18th and Yonsei University Festival on May 20th. They proved their popularity by performing not only their new song “Spicy” but also their old hits like “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” “Illusion,” and the new album’s b-side track “Thirsty” consecutively.
Prior to this, aespa set a new record for the highest first-week album sales among K-pop girl groups with “MY WORLD”, surpassing 1,698,784 copies (according to Hanteo Chart).
aepsa has gained global attention by reaching the top of Melon Top 100 and Genie, as well as topping major domestic and international music and album charts.
aespa will attend the red carpet of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival as the official ambassador of Chopard, the festival’s official partner.
aespa will embark on a world tour in North America and Europe starting from August.
